"Интернет будућности" и криминалитет

Интернет ствари (The Internet of Things - IoT) револуционарно мења начин на који живимо и комуницирамо. Осим тога, њиме се трансформише до сада уобичајени начин повезивања са "друштвом и природом". Интернет ствари полази од тога да предмети попут кућних уређаја, аутомата и (самоуправљајућих) возила могу да се повежу са другим стварима и размењују податке уз помоћ бежичне (Bluetooth) мреже или технологије идентификовања путем радио фреквенције (РФИД). "Паметне ствари" могу да контролишу своје карактеристике и подешавања, али и наша искуства и доношење одлука. Ауторке се у овом раду баве новим технолошким развојем Интернета ствари (ИоТ) и значајем који то има за криминологију. Циљ рада је усмерен на делимично указивање на недостатке у литератури и постављањем проблема којима би у будућности требало да се баве криминолози и други научници у сфери друштвених наука. Фокус рада је на феномену Интернета ствари (ИоТ), док се напредак у виду технологије препознавања лица помиње само незнатно. Имајући у виду да развој технологије, поред свих својих предности утиче и на успостављање односа политичке, економске и војне моћи, ауторке овим радом постављају полазну основу за будућу дискусију у предвиђању и спречавању нежељених последица које "интернет будућности" носи са собом.
