Submission Guidelines
Manuscript Preparation: Authors should follow the journal’s formatting guidelines, which include specifications for font, spacing, citation style, and character count.
Submission Process: Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through our online submission system. Authors will receive confirmation of submission and a unique manuscript ID for tracking.
Peer Review Process
Review Methodology: All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors’ identities are concealed from reviewers and vice versa to ensure impartiality.
Reviewer Selection: The editorial team selects two qualified reviewers based on their expertise in relevant areas of criminal justice. Reviewers are expected to complete their assessments within 4-6 weeks.
Decision Communication: Following the reviews, the editor will communicate a decision regarding the manuscript (accept, minor revisions, major revisions, or reject) along with reviewer comments.
Authorship Criteria
Authorship is based on substantial contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research. All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission.
Acknowledgment of non-authors who contributed to the research should be included in the manuscript.

Crimen is an open access journal, meaning that all articles are freely available to the public, free of charge. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) 4.0 License. The right to use the content without written consent does not release users from the obligation to cite the content of the journal. We do not charge publication costs to authors or third parties. Both manuscript submission and editing services as well as article publishing services are free of charge, without hidden costs.
