Изучавање организованог криминалитета

У раду је указано на историјат проучавања организованог злочина у криминологији од зачетака до данашњих дана, кроз кратак осврт на најзначајнија достигнућа. По природи ствари, највећа пажња посвећена је америчкој литератури која врши највећи утицај у светским размерама. Извршена је периодизација тих напора на ране радове, концепцију Cressey-a, критику његовог гледишта које је изједначило италијанско америчку Cosa Nostru са целокупним организованим криминалитетом у САД и приказана су нека од истраживања последњих деценија која су фокусирана на транснационални организовани криминалитет. Најзад, указано је и на отворена питања која у науци до дана нису решена и која представљају изазов за нова истраживања.
